EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – “A lavish lifestyle.” That’s what Senior Administrator Chris Slavicek promises for residents at the new Care One on Cranbury Road.  Indeed, care one is located right next to the luxurious Park Chateau and the new hotel that is going up beside it.  On a recent tour of the almost-finished residence, it was easy to see the ground plan of a lovely care facility with furnished apartments, recreation rooms, a pub, an outdoor dining area, porches, and exercise facilities.

It’s important for Slavicek, longtime local resident, educator, elder-care specialist, and Helmetta mayor, to keep the “care” in Care One.  He is excited about the offerings at this boutique facility which combine a luxury residence and a dementia care center.  Featuring a highly-trained staff in all areas of dementia and memory loss, Care One will provide a quality of life and a level of care that will maintain the dignity of the residents.

Meanwhile, other residents will enjoy the furnished one-bedroom and studio apartments with large windows and individual food preparation and storage areas.  There are several dining areas, including a pub, and an outdoor quad where residents can get their meals and coffee. Slavicek says that he has also made many connections with recreational services in East Brunswick like the nearby Playhouse 22 and will offer social and shopping trips for the residents.  “At Care One Assisted Living,” says Slaviceck, “We think of ourselves as an extension of the community.  We are eager for our residents to become part of East Brunswick.
