Memory Care

All CareOne Communities throughout New Jersey offer separate, dedicated Units for people living with memory impairments and similar issues, including Alzheimer’s Disease.  These carefully developed Units are tailored to foster each Resident’s abilities, not his or her disabilities. 

We call our Memory Care Units "Harmony Village."  This name signifies our goal - helping your loved one live to his or her fullest abilities in harmony with others.  Everything has been considered in the design of these custom Units – from the soothing color schemes, to the simple and safe floor plans, to the “touchable artwork,” encouraging Residents to explore.

CareOne Harmony Villlage Staff have been trained specifically to work with individuals living with Alzheimer’s Disease and related memory impairments and understand Alzheimer’s Disease progression.  CareOne Staff collaborate with Residents and their families, ensuring each Resident's care plan maximizes independence and focuses on life enhancement.

The CareOne Harmony Village difference is best described as a “continuum of care”.  Each Resident is assessed by a Registered Nurse prior to admission to determine specific personal care and service needs.  A Care and Service Plan is then developed, reviewed with each Resident and family members prior to admission. 

Residents are charged only for the care and services they and their family choose.  All CareOne Memory Care Communities offer on-site, 24-hour-a-day Nursing and Certified Nursing Assistant care.  Special activities and recreation are a crucial component of CareOne programs. 

CareOne also offers monthly support groups for families of Residents living with Alzheimer’s Disease to assist in understanding the disease, learn from other families and to provide emotional support.
