CareOne’s broad healthcare offerings mean a place for just about everybody

CareOne at Moorestown was just voted Best of Burlington County for their Sub-Acute unit for Nursing Rehab and for Alzheimer’s Care which is offered in the assisted living, but they offer much more than that. Services range from subacute rehab, to post acute care to assisted living and long term care.
Pamela Krasnigor, Director of Marketing and Community Relations explained that the building is considered a hybrid. Subacute care is provided on the second floor and the downstairs is for assisted and enhanced assisted living. The hybrid model is particularly helpful for residents if rehab is needed after a hospital stay recovering in place even as their care needs change.
“We are a true full continuum of health care,” said Krasnigor. “This is one of many unique features offered to patients or residents.”
There are beds for up to 54 residents at the community, which Krasnigor explained has the feel of a home. It’s situated in a picturesque location atop a hill in Morrestown. It’s a beautiful castle-like building surrounded by pastures and next to a horse farm. Residents can take advantage of walking paths and roam the expansive grounds or participate in one of the many recreational opportunities offered daily.
“We have some very specialized activities like a horticultural therapist who comes in and helps with planting flowers and bulbs,” said Krasnigor. “Every Wednesday our residents do flower arrangements. We have happy hours. Last week we were hopping with activities around the Olympics.”
CareOne has a good reputation among industry professionals. According to Krasnigor the subacute division is rated five stars by the Center for Medicare Services and the assisted living section has achieved advanced standing status. Both are the best ratings available. Care One is also approved to treat veterans and is considered a preferred vendor for local hospitals.
She said that the most telling sign that CareOne is doing a good job is the number of people who choose to stay or refer their services. She said patients from the rehab often opt to stay under respite service either to improve strength or as an option to going home too soon. They appreciate the care they received and sometimes want to live there as well.
Krasnigor said, “It’s really a beautiful community. Where somebody can come and stay for the rest of their days.”
