CareOne to Be Exclusive Sub-Acute Provider of Breathe NIOV System.
CareOne is pleased to announce and exclusive partnership with The Breathe NIOV™ system. This new medical technology will allow CareOne to offer the latest in respiratory treatment advances to patients in their rehabilitation programs. The Breath technology will enable patients to improve their endurance and respiratory functioning while receiving physical and occupational therapy. CareOne will pilot their first program utilizing the Breathe system at their CareOne at Livingston sub-acute rehabilitation center in Livingston, New Jersey.
The Breathe NIOV™ System is a unique, palm-size, ultra light, volume assist ventilator and proprietary nasal pillows interface intended for adult patients with respiratory insufficiency. This innovative open non-invasive ventilation technology delivers volume and pressure to supplement patient’s breathing while enabling mobility. NIOV is FDA cleared for use in the institution and home.
NIOV was designed to facilitate physical therapy and pulmonary rehabilitation in sub acute, LTAC and homecare settings. This ambulatory therapy allows clinicians to adapt to patient’s needs throughout rehabilitation process and ultimately help patients regain independence in the home.
