CareOne At Wellington Supports Local Four-Time Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Patient

CareOne at Wellington sponsored several fundraisers in support of the #Got Cheeks? movement to encourage bone marrow donor registration, founded by Anthony Daniels of Ridgewood, NJ, who is battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for the fourth time. CareOne at Wellington raised $1,000 for Anthony and Delete Blood Cancer, an organization that promotes bone marrow donor registration. CareOne at Wellington staff members presented Anthony with a check at a community wide fundraising event hosted by the facility. Staff, patients, and visitors worked together to coordinate a t-shirt sale, breakfast sandwich sale, bake sale, volleyball game and bone marrow cheek swab drive, where 30 people were swabbed, in order to raise funds for this worthy cause and inspiring young man.
