CareOne At The Cupola Celebrates Big Milestones At Annual Service Awards Ceremony

CareOne at the Cupola, a premier assisted living community, recently hosted its annual service awards event, recognizing staff members and their years of service and contributions to the center. Among the awards presented were two big milestones. Director of Nursing AnneMarie McCormack received an award for 15 years of service to CareOne and Administrator Lisa Rhoads received an award for 20 years of service.

“I’m so honored to receive this award for doing what I love,” said Ms. McCormack. “I feel blessed to be able to come to work every day and be part of this amazing team and center.” CareOne at the Cupola’s residents feel the same way. “AnneMarie is a good leader, a sympathetic person and a nurse that is always willing to help,” shared resident Margaret Keane. Fellow staff members described Ms. McCormack as an exceptional individual who not only brings a high level of professionalism and caring to the center, but also puts the residents first and has an unwavering sense of quality and care.

As a 20-year employee of CareOne, Ms. Rhoads began her career in the activities department and worked her way up to becoming an Administrator. “I am proud of my years of service to CareOne,” said Ms. Rhoads. “I believe that the longevity of the CareOne at the Cupola staff is a true testament to the way I run the center – with compassion and putting the residents and staff first. I am constantly looking for new and innovative ways to improve our resident’s quality of life and ensure that we always have the best employees to maintain our reputation as an industry leader.” Residents and staff members alike describe Lisa as an unparalleled Administrator who is hands-on, knows everyone by name and is a constant presence in the lives of her residents and staff.
