CareOne at Teaneck Introduces New iPad Program

CareOne at Teaneck patients can now utilize the center’s newly purchased in-house iPads to access the latest technology and connect with family and friends. Patients are encouraged to:

  • FaceTime with family and friends
  • Listen to music
  • Watch movies
  • Read books and newspapers
  • Surf the web
  • Check email
  • Utilize translator/interpreter programs

“Adding iPads to our existing activities and programs enables patients to stay connected with family and friends throughout their stay and provides a new way for them enjoy their favorite pastimes, such as listening to music or keeping up with current events,” said CareOne at Teaneck Administrator Jean Monnecka. Patients with limited technology skills can take advantage of iPad training sessions offered by CareOne at Teaneck’s recreation staff.
