CareOne At Madison Avenue Hosts Interactive Seniors Blue Book Seminar

More than 50 senior care industry professionals attended this week’s Seniors Blue Book meeting for Morris and Somerset counties hosted by CareOne at Madison Avenue on Thursday, July 16th. Seniors Blue Book, a comprehensive resource guide for seniors, offers meetings to provide senior care professionals with the opportunity to network and develop partnerships.

The event began with networking followed by an interactive discussion, How Much Stress Is Too Much?, presented by CareOne at Madison Avenue Administrator Kristen Compton (pictured left with Director of Marketing Alison Diamond). Participants learned the difference between good stress and bad stress, how to identify the various responses to stress and how to control those responses to prevent burn out. “As caregivers in the health care industry, our job is to care for others, but we also lead stressful lifestyles as a result,” said Ms. Compton. “It’s important for us to learn how to manage the stress so we can improve not only our quality of life, but the quality of care we provide.”
