CareOne At Livingston Expands Advanced Memory Care Assisted Living Program

CareOne at Livingston is expanding the Harmony Lodge Community, a unique assisted living wing housed within the skilled nursing facility for those living with advanced memory impairments. The current program is home to 24 residents and the expansion will include 20 new private rooms. Construction of the new private rooms is expected to be complete by mid-June. “The goal of our Harmony Lodge program is to enable residents who have advanced memory impairments to get the support and assistance they need while still maintaining their independence wherever possible,” said Michael Daichman, Regional Director of Operations for CareOne’s assisted living communities. “While the Harmony Village program located in our assisted living communities offers tailored programs and services to those whose memory impairments are in the earlier stages, Harmony Lodge provides an increased level of care for those who need it within our skilled nursing centers under the assisted living umbrella, including 24-hour nursing care as the patient’s disease progresses,” he said.
