Local Boy Scout Partners With CareOne At Jackson To Earn Eagle Scout Rank

When Boy Scout Noah Canderozzi wanted to earn his Eagle Scout Rank, the highest Boy Scouts Of America advancement rank, he chose CareOne at Jackson as his partner in achieving this goal.  In an effort to contribute to the community and make a difference in the lives of others, Noah helped CareOne at Jackson enhance their outdoor courtyard, a place where many residents enjoy spending time, by creating beautiful raised garden planters.  Noah’s creation enables residents to participate in gardening activities to strengthen their fine motor skills.  He built a raised platform for the planters to provide easy access to the gardens for wheelchair-bound residents.  Not only do the planters allow residents to enjoy gardening activities, they also improve the overall atmosphere in the outdoor courtyards.  In the process of planning this project and earning his Eagle Scout Rank, Noah developed relationships with CareOne at Jackson residents and has truly made a positive impact on the lives of many.

In appreciation of Noah’s hard work and efforts, CareOne at Jackson held a recognition ceremony for Noah and his Boy Scout Troop that included an award presentation by resident and Garden Club Chair Charles Pittius, remarks by Resident Council President Sylvia Brown, live music, and refreshments.
