CareOne South Jersey Centers Support Local Agriculture

CareOne’s South Jersey centers (CareOne at Evesham, CareOne at Evesham Assisted Living, CareOne at Ewing, CareOne at Hamilton, CareOne at Moorestown, and CareOne Harmony Village at Moorestown)  recently co-sponsored the Garden State Wine Growers Association Jersey Fresh Wine Festival held at the Burlington County Fairgrounds in Columbus, NJ. The event featured an impressive selection of close to 300 wines from 17 New Jersey wineries, food trucks which offered a wide variety of gourmet delicacies, artisan craft vendors, and a live music performance by the southern rock band Painted Blue Sky.  Among the wines made available for tasting were all three Governor’s Cup winners, awarded to NJ’s top wines, from Sharrott Winery, Heritage Vineyards, and Tomasello Winery.

The Festival celebrates the arrival of the statewide grape harvest season and showcases the New Jersey Department of Agriculture’s “Jersey Fresh” campaign to promote local agriculture, including wine grapes.  The festival was sponsored in part by Care One’s South Jersey centers.  “New Jersey wines are a source of pride for the state and we enthusiastically support the efforts made by the Garden State Wine Growers Association and the NJ Department of Agriculture to create fine wine and protect agriculture in New Jersey,” said CareOne Regional Marketing Director Patrick Quinn. “We are excited to be affiliated with this growing segment of the New Jersey economy.
