CareOne at Moorestown and CareOne Harmony Village at Moorestown Support Township Public Schools

CareOne at Moorestown and CareOne Harmony Village at Moorestown were the premier sponsors of the Back to School Obstacle Run in support of Moorestown Township Public Schools. The race, held on Sunday September 7that Moorestown High School, had over 600 attendees, including runners, vendors, and a proud cheer section. This debut annual event, designed to promote unity among community members, featured a one mile course for children and a 5K course for teens and adults with age appropriate obstacles included on each course.

“With the budget deficits, we were looking for a way to raise some money for the school district,” parent volunteer Caryn Shaw said in an article published by the Moorestown Township Public Schools. “We didn’t want to just do another fundraiser, so we decided to come up with something fun for the community. It gave everybody a chance to come out and celebrate the beginning of a new school year and to help the kids out by raising some money.”  CareOne was proud to sponsor this worthy cause and give back to the community. “The turn out at the event was great,” said CareOne at Moorestown Director of Marketing Ugochi Opara.   “We appreciate and thank the community of Moorestown for its continued support of our local CareOne centers.”
